POLYGONATUM — Solomon’s Seal
SITUATION: These hardy perennials are excellent for cool or shady
positions, and need little attention to produce a pretty result.

TIME OF PLANTING: June to August. Plant rhizomes horizontally 3-5 cm
deep and space 25 cm apart.
WHILE GROWING: Keep area free of weeds.
DIGGING AND STORING: Plants can be left undisturbed for a number of
years. Multiplies well. Clumps can be lifted and divided between
June and August if needed. Store in moist peat moss if unable to
replant immediately.
